Grace 03:49
Verse Wandering so carlessly she gives her dress a twirl/ If you said tell me what makes you smile id tell you about that girl/ When she talks she has a lot to tell you all about/ Every world like poetry comes dancing out her mouth/ And when she sings she plays a song that brings the world to tears/ Ive never found such simple words such music to my ears/ PreChorus Shes my favorite song/ And I just cant help but sing along/ Chorus Cause She is grace/ The way she moves the way she speaks/ The rosey way/ She smiles bringing dimples to her cheeks/ And she's not what you expected/ Like a sunset at noon/ An ending day/ Closing beautifully too soon/ In a world full of darkness she is a single flame/ Though this life can leave you cold shes not the one to blame/ She sees the world brighter than us/ Though her heart is in the clouds/ And I know her feet never touch the ground/ Verse Wildflowers dance as she skips laughing through the feild/ She picks the fairest flower and tucks it behind her ear/ I wish I had her spirit I really wonder how thatd feel/ Some people say that happiness like hers cant be real/ PreChorus Shes my favorite song/ And I just cant help but sing along/ Chorus Cause She is grace/ The way she moves the way she speaks/ The rosey way/ She smiles bringing dimples to her cheeks/ And she's not what you expected/ Like a sunset at noon/ An ending day/ Closing beautifully too soon/ In a world full of darkness she is a single flame/ Though this life can leave you cold shes not the one to blame/ She sees the world brighter than us/ Though her heart is in the clouds/ And I know her feet never touch the ground/ Chorus Cause She is grace/ The way she moves the way she speaks/ The rosey way/ She smiles bringing dimples to her cheeks/ And she's not what you expected/ Like a sunset at noon/ An ending day/ Closing beautifully too soon/

Everybody's looking at you now/ Youre a big success in your little town/ You keep on going even though there are monsters all around/ There are sharks beneeth your feet/ So Just Dont Look Down/ Theyre watching you dancing on a creeky floor/ Youre walking on shaky ground/ Skating on thin ice crossing a bridge thats missing boards/ Any moment you could fall/ Just Dont Look Down/ Walkiing cautiously through tall grass/ What once was a calm field has now become a battle ground/ Youll lose what makes you special if you fall in the rabbit hole/ Dont let them pull you in/ Just Dont Look Down/ Toes to heal on the tightrope/ Ignore the crowd as you swallow your doubt/ Thinking you might fall but you continue to be strong/ Keep your balance and you can reach your goal/ Just Dont Look Down/ There are sharks beneath your feet/ Just Dont Look Down/ Any moment you could fall/ Just Dont Look Down/ Dont let them pull you in/ Just Dont Look Down/ Just Dont Look Down/ Just Dont Look Down/

SuperHero 06:49
Verse Lady walks into a corner store/ Just 2 dollars short/ You could tell she was feeling down by the way she faked a smile like shes done so many times before/ Bundled up in a worn out jacket/ From the thrift shop down the road/ She puts the milk and bread on the counter/ But not the eggs she cant afford/ PreChorus The cashier says shes covered but little does he know/ Shes struggling to make her pay and her daughters starving at home/ Chorus Some of the greatest heroes are the ones who save lives absent-mindedly/ Its the little things that matter when youre world looks so dark and you feel so small/ Some of the greatest heroes go unnoticed spreading kindness and living casually/ You dont need a superhero to catch you when you fall/ Therell be a hero in disguise in the middle of it all/ Verse Checks her makeup in the mirror/ Mom's working late again/ She thinks her father might come back some day/ But every time she brings it up she knows shes just playing pretend/ Laces up her worn out converse/ From her best friend down the road/ Welcomed with a smile from her best friends dad/ Who makes sure shes never alone/ PreChorus He's always been like a dad to her but little does he know/ Shes struggling each and everyday and her lifes harder than she shows/ Chorus Some of the greatest heroes are the ones who save lives absent-mindedly/ Its the little things that matter when youre world looks so dark and you feel so small/ Some of the greatest heroes go unnoticed spreading kindness and living casually/ You dont need a superhero to catch you when you fall/ Therell be a hero in disguise in the middle of it all/ Verse She waves goodbye to her best friend/ And returns to her mom at home/ She helps her put away the grocieries/ That she knew they cant afford/ Her mom zips up her worn out jacket/ And tells her about the man at the store/ She says even though were in a dark place now/ I hope you grow up to be just like the man who saw me for so much more/ Chorus Some of the greatest heroes are the ones who save lives absent-mindedly/ Its the little things that matter when youre world looks so dark and you feel so small/ Some of the greatest heroes go unnoticed spreading kindness and living casually/ You dont need a superhero to catch you when you fall/ Therell be a hero in disguise in the middle of it all/ Heroes in disguise are in the middle of it all/

about

So. I've been writing. Non stop. For my album and for my band's EP. and several times in the midst of crazy writing, I was sad or mad or other kinds of upset. So this "pre-album EP" happened. I decided to call it "rainy days" because that's what most of these songs came from. Emotionally rainy days. Rainy Days are okay. And its okay to get songs out of them. There is one happier song. And some of these songs are not from my experiences, but from feelings I had on behalf of others experiences. These songs were written in small amounts of time and were recorded in one take. They're what I like to call "One Take Wonders". Crack open a can of sadness and enjoy.
